MAG3N8 FAQ
MAG3N8 does not contain Magtein®. It is made with a non-branded form of magnesium L-threonate.
While findings on magnesium L-threonate and brain health are still emerging, magnesium is an essential mineral involved in hundreds of biochemical reactions in the body — including those related to nerve function and the normal functioning of the nervous system.
PrizMAG is 100% pure magnesium bisglycinate, which is well-known for its excellent absorption and gentle digestive profile, making it ideal for general magnesium supplementation, including support for muscles, sleep, and relaxation.
MAG3N8 is for those specifically seeking magnesium L-threonate. MAGtrio, on the other hand, provides a broader spectrum of magnesium forms to support general wellness.
Each MAG3N8 capsule contains 730 mg of magnesium L-threonate, which provides 56 mg of elemental magnesium. That’s because L-threonate is a larger, more complex molecule, and only a small portion of it is elemental magnesium.
Some brands may buffer their magnesium L-threonate with magnesium oxide to inflate the elemental magnesium number. We don’t. Magnesium oxide is a cheap filler with poor absorption (as low as 4%) and is known to cause digestive upset in some people—think bloating or laxative effects.
We keep our formula 100% pure and unbuffered, using only magnesium L-threonate—a high-quality form of magnesium.
For broader magnesium support throughout the body, MAG3N8 pairs well with MAG365 or PrizMAG.
